As many of you may already know, I have recently been afforded the opportunity and the honor to serve with Ralph Reed’s Faith and Freedom Coalition as Field Director of the Minnesota Faith & Freedom Coalition. I’m serving with a phenomenal group of individuals, including but not limited to former gubernatorial candidate and former Minnesota Representative Tom Emmer, J.D., who has just accepted the post of chairman of the Minnesota Faith & Freedom Coalition.
Due to the lawsuit-happy world in which we live, I thought that it would behoove me to make note of the fact that, “The views expressed herein do not necessarily reflect those of the Faith & Freedom Coalition and/or the Minnesota Faith & Freedom Coalition.”
Voilà.
Now, on to the fun stuff!
We’re hosting an event on January 27th, 2012 in Eagan, Minnesota, which promises to be extremely exciting and educational especially in light of the times in which we live. It’s called the “Annual Pastors’ Briefing and Strategy Event.” This function, which will cater mainly to pastors but ALL are highly encouraged to attend, will focus heavily on pastors’ rights in the political process, (which incidentally is the title of the presentation one of our speakers will give!) as well as the Marriage Amendment in the state of Minnesota. Speaking of speakers, we’re being honored with the presence of Jordan Sekulow of the American Center for Law & Justice, as well as Minnesota’s own Professor Teresa Collett of the University of St. Thomas School of Law. Moderators will include Tom Emmer of the Minnesota Faith & Freedom Coalition, and Pastor Brad Brandon of the Minnesota Faith & Freedom Project.
