This email establishes that as of 4:05 EST, the compound in Benghazi was classified as being “under attack.” This email also indicates that the support forces providing security support are classified as “militia.”

This email confirms that, at 6:07 PM EST, the White House was informed that Ansar al-Sharia, an Al-Qaeda affiliate, claimed responsibility for the Benghazi attack, and called for an attack on the Embassy in Tripoli.

And not a single peep about the video.

White House Press Secretary Jay Carney, Ambassador Susan Rice, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and President Barack Obama himself spent the next few weeks blaming an obscure video, and making the claim that this attack was completely spontaneous.

We all know that this administration has spent weeks denying any knowledge of a planned attack, and insisted that every shred of evidence in their possession held no evidence of pre-meditation. I’ll let Jay Carney do the talking:

“I’m saying that based on information that we — our initial information, and that includes all information — we saw no evidence to back up claims by others that this was a preplanned or premeditated attack; that we saw evidence that it was sparked by the reaction to this video. And that is what we know thus far based on the evidence, concrete evidence — not supposition — concrete evidence that we have thus far.”

That was on September 18th, 2012- seven full days after the attacks, and seven full days after the emails containing irrefutable evidence that not only were the attacks not spontaneous, but they were carried out by a sophisticated Al-Qaeda affiliate.

I just finished watching a segment on Sean Hannity, in which commentator Juan Williams just asked, in relation to this discussion, “where’s the proof that anybody lied??”

Mr. Williams, with all due respect. . . . are you blind?

This isn’t speculation. This isn’t conjecture. This is proof positive in print, forever immortalized in electronic format. It is what it is.

We now know that these emails were sent by the U.S. State Department to none other than the White House Situation Room, the Pentagon, the FBI and the Director of National Intelligence.

Under what I can only presume is the assumption that the American population is in fact as dumb as a box of rocks, administration officials–including Secretary of State Hillary Clinton–have refused to take responsibility for the statements that these emails now prove to be false.

Are we to believe that emails (again- generated by the State Department under Hillary Clinton’s direction) sent to the aforementioned destinations somehow didn’t make it to the President, or the Vice President? They adamantly claimed they didn’t know: 

“The intelligence community told us that [the video sparked the attack], and as they learned more facts about what happened they changed their assessment.” (Vice President Joe Biden)

How is it that a top aide to Secretary Clinton was able to deem this a terrorist attack 24 hours after the incident. . .but somehow this definition seemed to escape his boss, and her superiors- the President and Vice President? The Secretary herself said today that social media messages such as that referred to in the email really “is and of itself evidence,”– anyone could have done it. Yet somehow her State Department found it credible enough to make the call that it was in fact Ansar al-Sharia.

Even more chilling than the cover-up of this attack’s source is the emerging knowledge that the U.S. had a drone monitoring the situation, which streamed feed LIVE to the Situation Room at the White House. The Situation Room, people. You remember this- I’m certain:

 

This is in the Situation Room as Osama bin Laden was being killed.

We’re supposed to believe that as LIVE feed of this hours-long, horrendous attack was streamed in, the President didn’t have the slightest clue? Maybe not- since it’s been reported that the President went to bed without knowing the whereabouts of the Ambassador. I supposed he did have to turn in a bit early, considering his all-important trip to Las Vegas for a campaign fundraiser.

They had live feed. They had the intelligence. The U.S. has troops in the region. And  the administration did NOTHING.

We’re not talk about a mere misstep by this administration. We’re looking at a full scale cover-up involving the torture and deaths of FOUR Americans. We’re faced with one of two alternatives here. This administration knew about it, and lied anyway. . . or this is the most inept, bumbling administration in the history. Neither paints a comforting picture.

Those who claim that this is Barack Obama’s “Watergate moment” is right in one regard- this is a major scandal leading straight to the White House- but the description falls short by a mile. In Watergate, nobody died.
