Sometimes it’s the simplest of things that proves to be the most powerful encouragement.
I was tuned into the Glenn Beck program a few weeks back when I heard him say (in speaking to his audience about the year to come) [paraphrased]:
“I don’t know what dream it is you’ve got—what’s whispering in your ear . . . this year, just do it.”
A few days ago I decided to just do it; to step out on a limb and open up about a professional dream of mine to a person I hoped could shed light on the right path to get there. All I was looking for was guidance, and I received so much more than that.
After several years of praying for real opportunities to make a difference, I’ve been given a marvelous one.
Chris Salcedo, host of The Chris Salcedo Show on the Blaze Radio Network, has given me the opportunity to freelance with him in conjunction with his show . . . and an incredible facet of this setup is the chance to have my work posted from time to time in contributions section of The Blaze.
Chris is a talented host with a decidedly unique way of educating his listeners. In case you haven’t had a chance to do so, you can catch his show on Saturdays from 9a.m.-12 p.m. EST 11 a.m.-2 p.m. CST (new time!) on The Blaze Radio Network, accessible here. He is also a regular contributor to The Blaze. You can access his most recent work–Lanegate:Christie Helps Obama Again by clicking here.
So, let me introduce you to my new byline! It is in process of being linked to The Chris Salcedo Show, but for now:
I will still be blogging primarily from here, and will update you all when a new piece of mine is published at The Blaze. Until then . . . here’s the first one!
The Legal Ones: Real Courage, Not Amnesty
I look forward with great anticipation to working with Chris and the exciting contributions he’s making to The Blaze. #SalcedoSwarm here I come!
Congratulations – an answer to prayers! We are so over-the-top happy for you and proud of you. Keep up the good work! As Vini would say, “That’s AMAZING!”
